Rally to Rescue™ is a partnership between Purina® Pro Plan® and select pet rescue organizations across the country. The program raises funds and awareness for pet rescue.

Apply to join the Rescue Ambassador program online. We review all applications and select organizations for annual agreements based on the criteria below.
Membership criteria
To be considered for the Rally to Rescue™ program your organization must:
- Have 501(c)(3) non-profit organization status with a determination letter from the IRS.
- Provide the information requested in our online application‚ including the number of pets your organization rescued and adopted last year‚ the number of volunteers actively involved in your organization‚ the number of events your organization held last year‚ your tax ID number and a copy of your adoption application and adoption contract.
Program requirements
If selected as a Rally to Rescue™ Ambassador your organization must:
- Recommend Pro Plan® brand pet food to new adopters.
- Feed Pro Plan® brand pet food most frequently to animals in your care.
- Hold at least 6 public events each year using Rally To Rescue™ event kits and adoption materials.

Rescue Ambassadors receive:
Financial Support: Each Rescue Ambassador receives up to 200 free collar and wristband sets to sell at a suggested retail price of $5 per set. All net proceeds are the organization’s to keep.
Promotional Support: Rally to Rescue™ will underwrite a nationwide awareness campaign to spread the message of pet rescue. The Rally to Rescue™ web site informs visitors of rescue events in their community.
Event Support: Rescue Ambassadors receive an event kit that includes a tent‚ banner‚ curb signs and other materials to help create professional-looking public events. Rescue Ambassadors also receive Rally to Rescue™ t-shirts and printed materials.
