The Give A Bowl™ program provides much-needed food to the pets in their care when they reward their adopters with a great savings coupon ($4.00) for Purina® brand pet food.
"How Does the Give A Bowl™ Program Work?"
- Whenever you adopt out a dog or cat, send your new pet families to www.giveabowl.com to learn about the ideal Purina® brand for their dog or cat's unique lifestyle AND download their valuable coupon!
- Be sure to invite them to select your shelter as the animal welfare organization they would like Purina to "give a bowl" back to (in the form of "food points").

For every coupon your adopters redeem, $1 worth of pet food coupons will be rewarded to you from Purina for every
point you earn. - Quarterly, you will receive a reward packet of Purina
pet food coupons for the respective points your organization
has accumulated.
Pretty simple, huh? We thought so. We've designed this unique "points-for-food" program to streamline the donation process, function on-line for your convenience, and reduce the need for space in your facility.
"Who Can Join Give A Bowl™?"
The Give A Bowl™ program is open to all animal welfare organizations regardless of type of facility, size, location, etc.
"Is It Easy To Participate?"
Very easy. All your organization needs to do is:
- Go to www.giveabowl.com, enroll in the program, and look for your starter kit to arrive in the next couple of weeks (includes cool signage, premiums, product and program information, etc.).
- Encourage your new pet adopters to visit the Give A Bowl™ Web site (yes, it's the same Web site address: www.giveabowl.com)
- Ask them to direct their Give A Bowl™ donation to your particular animal welfare organization.
- Check the site regularly to monitor your progress and food redemption points.
- Redeem the pet food coupons rewarded to you from Purina® for all of your hard work!
- Feel good about rewarding your adopters--while earning extra food dollars to feed the loving homeless pets in your care.
Cash and food.
Up to $180,000 (in food coupons) of Purina® brand dog and cat food will be donated to participating animal welfare organizations through December 31, 2007.
